The awards were hosted by 'School Travel Organiser' and presented by Fiona Bruce. 

 

Although Miss Stanford did not win, she reported that she had the most incredible day and all four finalists were presented with a lovely framed certificate and treated extremely well. The feeling from the people in the room (who were mainly school visit providers not other teachers) and Fiona Bruce herself was one of great respect, appreciation and admiration towards all of us who work in schools and who are involved in providing learning experiences outside the classroom.

 

Miss Stanford would like to thank you all for the many lovely comments received and, of course, for the nomination and votes you cast. "It was a privilege to sit and see the name "Mary Elton Primary School" appear on the screen at such a prestigious event."
